New Building Going Up - Finally

It's actually happening now.  Starting to build a small quail building that will be air conditioned in summer and heated in the winter.  This should allow me to produce an excellent fertile egg - all other things considered. The building is small so the number of eggs available will be small also.  I'm hoping to initially produce one hundred a day as an initial goal.  They will be $65.00 per hundred which will include shipping and will be on a first come/first serve basis.  I'm not going to try and match E-bay prices because my eggs will be of better quality and my service includes the free e-book on raising quail and years of good experience.  In addition, my communication is excellent so when you order your eggs you'll have a response in 24-48 hours with a ship date.

I'll update the blog again as I get closer to production.  In the mean time, thanks to all who have ordered my book and I hope that your birds are doing well!

Remember to pray for the persecuted Christians in Iraq at this time.

Finally - A place to grow some quail

It's hard to believe, but we are closing on a small place in McCaysville, Georgia, right outside of Blue Ridge, next month so I will be able to produce Jumbo Brown Coturnix fertile eggs again in the near future.  It will still be months away but it can definitely happen this time.  We own the property and are not renting so there should be no hiccups and no reason that I cannot provide the eggs that many of you are requesting.

Requests for my free PDF book have been strong and I consider it a blessing to be able to help you all in your quail-raising project.  God bless you all in Jesus Christ.

Finally getting some eggs again!

I should have eggs in the incubator within the next week or so and will be able to produce some eggs for you in the near future. I'm very excited.  It's been a while since I've been able to have some.  Can't do a lot right now because we are renting and I have limited space.  But it will feel good to know that there are quail in the back yard!

God bless,

Wally

Quail Raising Book A Hit!!

Just want to shout a praise to God that so many of you have requested my little e-book and I hope that it continues to be a blessing to all those who use it.  I'm still not in a position to raise any quail as my wife and I are renting near Knoxville, TN.  We are searching for a little land in this with a creek.  If you know anyone who might want to bless someone with a good deal on a couple of acres with a creek in the general Knoxville area, please let me know.

God bless,

Wally

Moved Again!!!

We must be gypsies (is it politically correct to say that?).  We have moved to Tennessee and left behind my recently hatched batch of Georgia Giant Bobwhites.  It was a good hatch and I look forward to trying them again.  I gave them to my Pastor's daughter and she is getting the quail bug now!  I have to build a small barn where we are moving to so it will be awhile before I have any new stock. However, I would like to say that I am getting many requests for my free E-book and I'm excited to send it out to everyone that asks.  My goal is to help other folks learn how easy it is to raise quail and help provide some additional meat and eggs for the dinner table.  Talk to you soon!

PS The batch of Coturnix Jumbo Browns that I hatched in August ended up going in my freezer and some of my family's freezers as we could not move them with us to Tennessee.  I'm sure they will be delicious!

Georgia Giant Bobwhite Quail

Just purchased some Georgia Giant Bobwhite Quail eggs for hatching.  In 23 days I'll let you know what my new stock looks like.  I've been doing some research on these birds and though they take longer than the Coturnix to be meat-size, they will be three times the size!  I'm excited about the possibilities!
