We are a small operation, and we focus on quality - not quantity. Our breeders are kept in separate compartments with a 1 male to 3 female ratio. This ensures good fertility and reduces the fighting that is associated with raising quail in colony cages. I only use a high-quality, non-medicated feed (28% starter, 24% grow-out, and a 22% laying ration). They are raised on wire to reduce diseases and always have fresh water and feed available to them. Eggs are collected daily and waste trays are cleaned daily. The building is well-ventilated so the birds are kept as comfortable as possible. We normally ship Priority Mail via USPS but may use UPS if freight is more favorable.
As with any egg purchase, I cannot guarantee the Post Office will be gentle but I do all that I can to ensure that the eggs get to you the same way I sent them out - in one piece! Additionally, I cannot guarantee any hatch rate as I do not control any conditions after I ship the eggs.
